VENICE LODGING & TRANSPORT TIPS

If you can, stay in Old Venice (centro). There are no cars in the old city, so it’s very compact and great for walking, but bring some good shoes – distances can still be long. Unfortunately, hotel prices have gone up a lot in the center, so you might consider Fusina, Lido, or Mestre. 

• Fusina has very cheap options for camping, and also mobile homes. Most of our artists will stay here, because the boat we’ll use for our parties stays docked nearby. We also have access to a 10% discount off their normal prices!
• Lido is also recommended by local friends. It has a beach and frequent ferries to the centro.
• Mestre: around the train station, there are a lot of budget hostels. Buses shuttle passengers back & forth between Mestre & centro – also all night long.

Moving in Venice

Gli alloggi in Venezia centro sono i migliori. Non ci sono auto nella città vecchia, quindi è molto compatto e ottimo per camminare, ma porta delle buone scarpe: le distanze possono essere ancora lunghe. Purtroppo i prezzi degli hotel sono aumentati molto in centro, quindi potresti prendere in considerazione Fusina, Lido o Mestre.

• Fusina ha opzioni molto economiche per il campeggio e anche case mobili. La maggior parte dei nostri artisti starà qui, perché la barca che useremo per le nostre feste rimane ormeggiata nelle vicinanze. Abbiamo anche accesso a uno sconto del 10% sui loro prezzi normali!
• Lido è consigliato anche da amici locali. Ha una spiaggia e frequenti traghetti per il centro.
• Mestre: intorno alla stazione dei treni, ci sono molti ostelli economici. Gli autobus trasportano i passeggeri avanti e indietro tra Mestre e il centro, anche tutta la notte.
